Different teams that might be the same
The table below shows all possible team affiliations. You can also view only those possible team affiliations that aren't yet listed as the same team in my database.
The table below shows which teams might be the same in different years. Lines in bold indicate teams that are also listed as the same in my database.
Specifically, it calculates how many riders from a team in year were present in the same team in the following year.
This does contain some false positives. From the recent past: Astana 2009 to Radioshack 2010; even though 7 of the 9 riders were the same, it wasn't the same team. Many of the teams with a high percentage will likely be the same, but getting the teams 100% correct isn't my top priority, so some omissions are intentionally left in.
This table stopped at 34% (by design).
