Below are the stages with the longst successful solos, as far as I put them in my database. At this moment it is not complete: 2281 out of 2358 have information, which is 96.7%. The missing stages are the ones from recent Tours, because I lost interest to update this. From this information, I created several types of statistical information about Tour solos.
Directly below are two tables. The first one is sorted by the minimal length of the solo, the second by the maximal length. The difference comes from the fact that I don't always exactly know when a solo started and when it ended, especially for the ancient stages. For example, I know that in the seventh stage of 1909, the winner (Ernest Paul) had not started his solo after 70 km, but he was alone after 120 km, and remained solo until the finish after 345 km. His solo lasted between 225 and 275 km.
At this moment, there are 52192 km of solos recorded in my database, and 19628 km of possible solos.

Sometimes this is no problem, for example the 183 km of stage 21 in 1950 where according to reports nothing interesting happened, and the riders just rode together in the peloton. For recent years, I did not put in anything because I lost interest.
