Stages where the leader of the mountain classification does not correspond to the calculation
Below is a table of all stages in which the leader of the mountain classification (calculated by the points earned from mountain passes in my database) does not correspond to the leader according to my database.
| Year | Stage | Leader in database | Calculated leader |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1973 | 17 | Pedro Torres | José Manuel Fuente |
| 1973 | 18 | Pedro Torres | José Manuel Fuente |
| 1978 | 18 | Mariano Martinez | Bernard Hinault |
| 1978 | 19 | Mariano Martinez | Bernard Hinault |
| 1978 | 22 | Mariano Martinez | Bernard Hinault |
| 1979 | 3 | Mariano Martinez | Bernard Hinault |
| 1979 | 5 | Mariano Martinez | Bernard Hinault |
- 1973, stages 17 and 18: I miss ten points for Torres, but I don't know where they come from.
- 1978, stages 18, 19 and 22: in the 17the stage, Hinault gets 53 points in the stage, but my calculations give him 62 points. In the stages thereafter, this makes Hinault the calculated leader, while in reality it was Martinez.
- 1979, stages 3 and 5: Martinez gets 4 points that I can not find back in the mountain passes.
